Mes Delices by Houbigant c1904

Mes Delices by Houbigant: launched around 1904.




Fragrance Composition:


So what does it smell like?
  • Top notes: neroli, cassie, bergamot
  • Middle notes: sweet-pea, carnation, heliotrope, jasmine, rose
  • Base notes: ambergris, musk, sandalwood, oakmoss


Bottles:


Presented in a clear crystal bottle by Baccarat. The label featured a portrait of Marie-Antoinette.










The Mes Delices line consisted of various products (number prefacing each is the catalog number):

  • 4584 - Extract (Parfum) Flacon miniature (purse bottle) 
  • 3384 - Extract (Parfum) 1/2 oz stands 1 3/8" tall
  • 2884 - Extract (Parfum) 1 oz stands 2.75" tall
  • 584 - Extract (Parfum) 2.5 oz stands  " tall
  • 582 - Extract (Parfum) 4.5 oz 
  • 2585 - Toilet Water - 4 oz stands 5.5"tall
  • 585 - Toilet Water - 8 oz
  • 675- Face Powder
  • 448 - Sachet Powder 1.5 oz bottle stands 2.5" tall
  • 948A - Compact Powder in a gold finished case
  • 955A - Compact Powder Refill
